Nestled amongst the coconut palms on the pristine beach frontage of Ngapali, the luxurious Sandoway Resort consists of 55 villas and cottages scattered throughout six acres of tropical gardens. The resort is designed with traditional South-East Asian elegance using local hardwoods, stone and marble.
Accommodation is split between beach front cottages, village cottages, deluxe rooms and villas with verandahs and access to the beach. The resort’s international restaurant specialises in freshly caught local seafood - lobsters, prawns and fish bought directly from the fishing boats each morning. The lounge bar located on the open verandah overlooks the beach and is the perfect spot for sunset drinks.
The Sandoway’s spa centre offers a range of services including aromatherapy, massages, manicures and pedicures. Snorkelling and a range of water sports are also available at the resort.
Discover an enigmatic and deeply spiritual Myanmar as you journey through one of Southeast Asia's most complex and least visited country. Traveling in style, you will be put up in some of the best and elegant hotels unrivalled in service and thought. Be enchanted and awed by grand Yangon, relax in the peace of Inle Lake and relish in the rich archaeological wonders on the Bagan plains.
Inle Princess Resort rests on the eastern shore of Inle Lake within the blue treetop ranges of the Shan Hills. The lake’s top resort offers guests a secluded retreat with 46 traditional wooden chalets, built upon stilts along the shallow waters of the shoreline. The spacious rooms were built by local craftsmen using native woods and bamboo and are decorated with Burmese silk textiles. The rooms also feature private balconies with impressive views of fields, mountains and Inle Lake.
The Strand, once regarded as 'the finest hostelry east of Suez' has long been recognized as one of Yangon's landmarks. The hotel's Victorian influence is visible from the colonnaded entranceway. Inside spells the same story with marble floors inlaid with teak, rattan furniture, potted palms, chandeliers and black-lacquered ceiling fans.
