Who should go?
The Malikha Lodge is a luxury property in one of the world's few remaining unspoiled natural areas, suited for adventurers and leisure travelers alike. Guests can spend their days with the Lodge's expert guides exploring the beautiful Himalayan Mountain area on foot, discovering local villages and rafting along the Nam Long River. Or for something more relaxing, the Lodge offers indulgent traditional massages, a swimming pool with stunning views and spacious balconies from which to enjoy the scenery. Malikha Lodge is only accessible during the dry cool months of October to April.
Where is it?
Malikha Lodge is located on the edge of the Himalayan Mountains in Myanmar's remote northwest corner. The Lodge is a twenty minute drive from Putao airport which is serviced by sporadic flights to and from Yangon and Myitkyina.

What's cooking?
Despite its remote location, Malikha Lodge serves mouth watering gourmet fusion cuisine accompanied by an extensive list of wines and cocktails. Diners have a choice of three set menus for lunch and dinner, created from fresh local produce and exotic spices. Meals are served in the Lounge which features a soaring ceiling punctuated by two fireplaces and is indicative of the simple elegance of the property. The Lounge is also a popular gathering place for evening cocktails where guests can chose from an extensive list of wines, spirits and non-alcoholic drinks.
Our People and Heritage Myanmar tour will take you to the country’s culturally rich cities. After witnessing Yangon’s historical structures and visits to the various colonial quarters in the city, you will jet off to Mandalay and experience the history and people there. After that, you will visit Bagan’s temples and cave and float along Inle Lake with stops to the local villages and markets.
